Pillar 01
Since 1997, TME has transported, installed, and commissioned the bulk of SOTELMA's telecom tower network. Since 2020, nine out of ten come from our teams.
15 / 30 / 60 m
Standard tower heights · custom heights on specification
Topography, civil works, antenna installation, radio testing — our teams own every step through operational commissioning. Excavation, foundation, rebar, concrete pouring per engineering plans; tower erection at 15 m, 30 m, 60 m — and custom heights on specification; slabbing, fencing, access roads, site compliance. One counterpart, from the concrete slab poured at 4 AM in the rainy season to the stable signal received by the operator.
Adding capacity to an existing site costs less than building a new one. Our work reinforces structures, extends usable height, and supports additional loads — complementary antennas, microwave links, backhaul equipment. On historic Orange and SOTELMA sites, we've often doubled usable capacity without moving a single foot.
24 – 48 h
Field-team mobilization · country-wide coverage
Gao, Kidal, remote sites of the Far North: logistics and security weigh as much as the technical work. Our teams rely on a permanent regional presence, a dedicated 4×4 fleet, and HSE protocols adapted to the Sahel. Mobilization delays are counted in hours — 24 to 48 hours by zone, even in critical situations. No geographic constraint is an obstacle for TME.
Beyond the tower itself, TME supplies and installs the equipment that orbits around it: microwave links for transmission, professional Kenwood and Motorola radios, railway installations on rail-linked telecom projects. Vertical integration removes the usual gray zones between site builder and equipment vendor — a single counterpart for the entire setup.
